Residential design with
Knowledge, experience, and passion
We start by joining the pieces of the dream from past to present, knitting them together room by room, wall by wall until we have a plan. Through listening and getting to know each other, we build the dream into the plan. The house becomes the home. When we work together to achieve that, walking through every doorway is like waking up on Christmas morning. . . Joy.

This couple wanted a ranch with two master suites along with lots of open space to entertain inside and out.
This home started out as a 3 bedroom ranch housing a small family on a farm. When the new owners moved in, complete with 5 children, a large chocolate lab, and several cats, they quickly ran out of space. The remodeled home was a much more spacious two story, 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath farm house with standing seam metal roof, board and batten siding, and a prestigious cupola.
This structure is off the charts industrial. From the brick veneer parapet walls to the horizontal canopies at main entry and garage portals, we endeavored to create a space that has all the modern day features, but has the appearance of having lived through the ages. Throughout the home structural elements are exposed and become the defining features, such the steel I-beam stairway that leads from the lower level to the top floor as it crosses before 2-stories of windows set in a 12" thick brick wall. We even added an outdoor fire-escape like you would find in a commercial high rise building.
Not every piece of property is large and sprawling, but this one was. We were able to set the garage apart from the main house connected by an open breeze-way. Together, they frame the rear yard for the future custom pool and outdoor living area.
Our client came to us with a childhood memory of his grand dad's barn siding. We matched the hand cut shakes to breathe life into his dream. His former bachelor pad at the lake became a 4 bedroom family home with wrap around porch in a quiet country setting.
From an aged two bedroom mill-house of roughly 800 sq ft, this home was transformed into a beautiful 2000 sq ft, spacious four bedroom ranch with expansive covered porch. Now they welcome in neighbors, and sit and rock on their porch during a summer storm.
